I'm Jake Palmer, a full-stack developer and problem-solver, fueled by a deep-rooted curiosity for how technology and creativity can come together to solve real-world problems. My journey from a tech-enthusiast kid to a multi-faceted engineer has been defined by an unrelenting passion for building and learning.

After earning degrees in Information Systems and Interactive Media Design, I began my career at Deloitte, working closely with Fortune 500 clients on high-stakes, tech-driven initiatives. I honed skills in project management, strategic consulting, and process automation. But more than managing teams, I realized my true passion lay in getting hands-on with development—building the solutions myself.

That defining moment came when I led the development of TigerShark Pickleball’s custom e-commerce platform. This was my first true dive into full-stack engineering, where I architected the entire platform from scratch using Next.js and Payload CMS, integrated Stripe for seamless payment processing, and developed a 3D product configurator using Three.js. This project solidified my transition from a consultant to a full-stack engineer, blending technical rigor with creative execution.

While I’ve enjoyed leading projects and gaining entrepreneurial experience, I am now focused on finding a full-time role where I can bring my diverse skills to a fast-paced, innovative team. I thrive in environments where I can tackle a broad range of challenges—from front-end design to back-end development—and collaborate with others to push boundaries.
